Hello all
On to the next question. I have been useing my tsu7000 with no real issues. I see a link feature when I click on properties. I am not sure what its for. Is this for linking codes to the pcf buttons? I have my pcf files saved on my computer and on a jump drive as a backup. what is the advantage to useing the link feature. Or am I totaly off the mark with the link features function. thanks
Jim

do you mean button properties? if so, it means give this button the functions of that other button in your PCF that you are linking to. You can also link to many buttons

jimgrotto,

From the (ProntoEdit NG) Help file:

Create a link

You create a link from one button to another button so that the first button can use the action list assigned to the second button. Working with links has two advantages:

First of all using links saves memory. Instead of adding the same action list to several buttons, you just add the action list once and create links for other buttons.

Secondly it is much easier to update action lists when using links. Instead of modifying the action list for each button you assigned it to, you only modify the action list once and all the links to that button are modified too.

We all hate to read them, but they are worth the effort
