Hi,

I just own a TSU7000 and i have problems importing buttons from the bitmap gallery.
When i read the Ultimate Guide it says how i can import them in the bitmap gallery and that's no problem, but how can i use them on my pages from here?

Thanks you guys for your help.

Two methods to set up a button using the gallery:

1. Get a complete button

- open the Gallery
- click on Buttons tab
- find the button you wnat
- drag and drop it on to your page

2. Choose Pressed and Released states separately

- insert a new button
- double click to get properties for the button
- click on appearances tab
- click on Select Bitmap for Unpressed State
- choose the button image you want
- repeat for Pressed state

Hi,

I tried to drag and drop, but that doesn't work. I opened the gallery, just like you said and then with my left mouse-button selected i try to drag and drop, but i get a forbidden circel when i try to drag.
Also when i try to double-click, nothing happens.
Is there something worng with my PPENG?
I use version 1.1.3.0

Thanks.

It worked for me today. I know that it only works with buttons, not bitmaps. Are you dropping it on to the page you are working on? Is the page the current page?

Method 2 above is how you get bitmaps.

Create one or more folders and put your bmp and/or png files into them. Then follow Peter's #2 instructions substituiting the "Import Bitmap" button for the "Select Bitmap" button. When you click on the "Import Bitmap" button, a navigation window opens. You would then navigate to the folder containing the bitmap or png file that you want to import. It helps if you click on the "View Menu" button and then click on "Thumbnails." That way you will see a pictorial representation of all the bitmap files and can quickly find the one you want.

This procedure eliminates the use of the Gallery which is more trouble than it is worth. You will find a thousand posts on this forum with the same advice.
