You need to address each module individually, so start with the module number and add a short delay between each command. I forgot to mention that step. If I recall correctly, I used .1 second. If that doesn't work, try increasing in .1 second increments. It should work for you. I've tried this on 3 different occasions.

Doesn't This give you a strobe effect and not a smooth dimming transition? I already had it set up to continually press dim, dim, dim, etc but it is actually annoying and not giving the desired effect. Are you experiencing something different?
Thanks,
Eric

My experience has been that the light goes down in small increments to the desired level. It was the only way to accomplish the desired effect without changing the modules and buying a maxi controller. The only drawbacks I've experienced are that it takes a few seconds to run the macro and you can't do anything else while the remote is doing it's thing. The only other way to accomplish what you want is to have a module that has "preset dim", and a maxi controller to program the module. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't believe that the IR543 is even capable of sending those commands.

Again, fluid dim control can be accompolished by assigning the dim command to a hard button.

Or, if you have the pronto tsu7000, word is that they are adding a button delay feature for the next firmware release.

Or, just make the break for it! Purchase the plug-ins that feature X10 extended commands - dimming is flawless! Your lamps will quickly adjust to 1-64 preset dims that can be reached through an ir543ah version 2
