I grabbed this complete ccf file and have had success with most buttons. [Link: remotecentral.com]The problem I am having is that when I go to the Watch TIVO or Watch TV the volume hard button is disabled. How do I enable it? I tried to go to "learn" and then navigate to the tivo screen and then learn the volume controls of my tv but I cannot get to the tivo screen in the learn mode. I can go to the raw ir codes and do this but it doesnt take. Basically I need to go into the learn mode and then navigate through the main page into the tivo page and then "learn" but I cant seem to get there. Any ideas? TIA!

Using the software you should learn (or better yet link) the volume buttons to the system page. Lets say your working volume controls are in the receiver device. From the system page properties choose volume down. Then choose link to receiver volume down. Do this for volume up and mute. If done on the system page it will "punch through" to all devices provided there is no action on the volume button of those devices. I hope I explained it well enough.

Thanks Jon , that works great.
One other question. When I open up the ccf file, that I downloaded, in prontoEdit why is there the following on the left nav panel
Tivo (which has a picture of a grey receiver next to it) and then down below... [IR-Tivo] (which has a picture of a red receiver next to it)
same for TV, Amp, etc...
What is the difference between these two entries?
The reason I asked is b/c when I created a link from the volume hard button on the Tivo I first linked to the TV vol+ ; vol- button. This didnt work. I then linked the Tivo volume hard buttons to the [IR-TV] buttons. This worked. Is this a function of Dennis's ccf or is this the layout for most ccf's? TIA!!

The red one is most likely hidden or a Template device. A right-click on the icon to get a popup menu will tell the tale.
For TSU1000,2000,6000 questions, you should be posting to the Pronto forum. This is the ProntoNG forum for the TSU3000/7000.

I guess I didnt state that I am using a TSU3000. Why would you think my questions were 1000/2000/6000 related? Thanks.

One thing is the NG series (3000 and 7000) use .pcf files and the older ones use .ccf files. I'm glad you got the volume working.
