I was wondering if anyone makes a dumb cradle for the TSU7000.

I.e. the base is filled with batteries instead of USB......and you set your 7000 in it.

Reason I'm asking is that my couch is not near any outlets and I wanted to charge the remote within easy reach?

I know you would have to recharge the base after 3-4 refills but it would sure beat having to drage a cord to my side table.

Just wondering?

I haven't seen one but it's not beyond the realm of possibility.

There are (pricey) D cell sized NiMH rechageables with 8500 mAh capacity. A few of those should offer several recharges before needing to be recharged themselves. The docking station would also make a fairly useful portable welder or defibrillator.

Of course, it should dispense cold beer and hot buttered popcorn to be truly useful.

If you can get it to dispense diet Pepsi, I would be interested in one.
