Hello,
I have been following this forum for a while and am finally about to purchase my first Pronto. The question I have for all you experienced users is how useful the color screen is on the 7000? The 3000 can be had online (non-refurbished) for about $215 while the 700 is about 3x that price. Truth be told, the 7000 is out of the budget range for now, so the question really is should I purchase a 3000 now or wait until I can afford a 7000?
Thanks for your opinions.

If I were you, I wouldn't wait. Although the color screen is snazzier, the added utility does not justify the substantially higher cost (at least to me). Do get the docking station, though.

ufd108,
If you peruse the first 3 pages of this forum, you will most likely find other threads asking the same question you asked. This will also give you a bit more information about issues users have with either the 3000 or the 7000.

I definitely think the 7000 is much better and worth the extra cash. On the other hand, if you don't have a good remote now and depending on how long you need to wait a 3000 might be a better choice
