I am trying to sort thru the threads and understand how the hard buttons work. Would love a plain english answer to the following.

By default, do they "punch thru" to all the screens?

If not, can I force it to "punch thru".

If so, can I override the punch thru for a specific device or page?

the answer is yes to all three

if you configure the hard buttons in system properties then they apply to all hardbuttons except if you over ride them in a device in the device properties

And, for the 3000, you must have the current firmware.
