i have successfully learned all the buttons from my TV remote for my Sony TV to the 3000, withough using the software. One button, learns and has the IR code, but doesn't work. All the other buttons work fine. It's the antenna button and immediately rests the source to antenna, or changes between two coax inputs. The button occasionally works when i push it, but never from the links i've created.
Anyone else seen this kind of issue. BTW, the source button works fine, it's just the ant. button that has issues.

Try relearning that button. Just because all the other buttons work and are clean. Does not mean that there won't be one or more that are dirty and not working (all the time if at all).

i've relearned it several times. It's to the point now where it works when pressed, most of the time, but never when used as a link. But, i can't tell if that's because the links seem to get crossed or i'm just not linking correctly.

The 'Ant' button is the only one that didn't learn correctly on my Sony TV also (but I didn't retry since I don't have a use for it anyway). So you're not the only one. Barry

you may have two options...
someone wrote a post a while back after being on the phone with techsup, and they told him to make sure the lights weren't bright, set the two remotes on a dark surface, and try re-learning from there.
The other is, in each macro or where ever you are trying to link this button, instead of using the link, just learn the code there... I know it sucks because you can't tell what that code is when looking at it in PENG. Heheheh before I learned that you could cross link buttons, all my macros were Learned IR Command/delay/learned ir command/delay... :)
