I am trying to modify an IR code that will act as though the Power butten is pressed for two seconds. The IR code is

It is easy to see where the repetition string is, after the 02EB, but copying this string gives the "Invalid IR code" error. I have tried several variations without success. I am in advanced mode. Anybody have a clue how to make this work?

The whole code is repeating, you can see that from the 0000 0023, 0000 means no one time code, 0023 means 23 (in hex) repeat codes. It is basically sending the code twice.

I did not have the time to calc how many times you will need to repeat but if the code translates correctly, on your button just alias (link) to the code many times.

I am not sure what code I sent originally, but it was the wrong code. Here is the correct one (see below). You can see there is a "one time" code (0012) and a "repeat code" (0011), which is exactly how the power button works.

I have tried linking to this code 10 or 15 times to get a longer duration, but it didn't work. The IR acts like it is blasting for 5-6 seconds, but the projector does not turn on.

Next I tried lengthening the one time code itself. I tried repeating the one time code 20 times (see below). Pronto accepts the code, but I don't see a longer IR blast when the button is pushed one time. It acts like the extra 19x are ignored.

If I try to go 40 times, the IR code is rejected.

Any ideas?
