For those that want to protect the screen from scratches, the pda screen overlays work great. screen size is 3x2-1/4. the screen overlay that fits perfect is for handspring/visors edge handhelds. I paid 10.00 for 12, iam sure they will last a while, just thought i would pass this tip along

If you want to use them, then go for it, but we have had Prontos in our conference rooms since 99 and none of the screens have had scratched screens.

Especially since the original screen protectors were designed for daily use of a stylus, such as in a PDA. Good thought though, ourbail. Regards...Dave

I just wanted to make it clear that scratches on the screen is not a big problem with Prontos as it is with PDAs. That is why I gave my experience with conference rooms (over 30 remotes). people don't take care of them, since they don't belong to them. falling down, spilled drinks...... As for home use my sister got a refurbished 1000 some time ago and she has three boys in the house (the oldest is seven).
PDAs get scratched because you are dragging a stylus on the screen, some of them are even made of metal, and they tend to be pointy. on the other hand you just poke/touch the Prontos screen.
