When learning IR codes from another remote I find that most of the times the TSU confirms a successful transmission with a short beep. However, sometimes I get a long beep. I was wondering what the reason is.
The IR codes look the same.

Is the tone of the beep the same?
If not then the learning process failed. There fore the ir code will look the same, because it will default to the ir code that was in there before you tried to learn and failed.
If the beep tone was the same, then I am not sure. From when I learned my ir codes, like a year ago. They all seemed to be the same tone, but there again, this was a year ago.

Tone is the same. Also got no error message. It seems to work fine..
Well, maybe it's just another bug that will eventually be fixed with one of the next (overdue) firmware updates...
