We are a computer hardware and electronics reseller in NJ.

We just got stock on a bunch of Pronto 3000s and they are ready to ship. Go to www.tmconnection.com and search for TSU3000. The regular price is $314.95 but if you mention REMOTECENTRAL in the notes when you checkout we will adjust your cart to $280 with FREE Shipping.

Do you advertize on remotecentral.com ? Besides what you just did by posting a thread here?

Also, will remotecentral.com get any thing out of it, like money to pay for the site?

If the answears are no, not really. Or other than a positive reponce, then you should read this... which is on every forum's page.

I agree with Rob, it was one thing when no one could find these things, but they are out there now, so if you are not responding to a post by someone else, please refrain from starting posts like this, it just pollutes the space

Honestly, we just signed up for the forum and did not know that there was a special area for buying and selling. I looked through this forum and saw people posting where to find the 3000 and the price for it. I saw another user that posted a thread also trying to sell them. So I figured this was the place to do it. As far as we know, these are not readily available so we wanted to let people know where they could get them if they were interested. We did not mean to offend anyone.

Amazon.com is a reputable dealer which has them in stock for a lower price.

I recommend you support the sponsors and advertisers of this forum where you get all your questions answered. You can save a few dollars (less than $10) on Amazon, but are they supporting this forum?

Amazon may not support this site, but neither does the company who started this thread.

The only companies who support this web site, are the sponsors on everypage, Daniel Tonks himself, anyone else who pays out of pocket (if any). And as of right now, prontoedit.com Because their selling the 3000, and 10% of sales comes here.

Rob

ps, I think this thread should be closed. Just my thought on this.

You guys say to support the sponsors of the site. So I looked at buying it from prontoedit.com. Now they are selling it for $400 and donating 10%. So they say that "they" are donating $40 back to this site. But who is really paying for it? They aren't donating anything. They are overcharging for the Pronto and then giving the buyers money to this site. Personally I would rather but it at a lower price and donate money myself if I want to.

So I bought mine from tmconnection, got it in a day, and saved over $100. they were very nice to deal with and I don't see why everyone has to give them a hard time. But that's just my opinion.

Since you’re keeping this at the top anyway…

Up to this point I haven’t said anything as I don't think one post is a big deal. Don't read it if you don't want to see it is my motto.

But now I need to comment. So even though what you are doing is breaking the rules (making commercial posts) you continue to do it and are encouraged by the support of others for your misdeeds. They say the small things are indicative of the big things so is this little thing indicative of how you do business? Rules do not matter just do whatever you can however unethical to get ahead? Doesn’t sound like a business me or my company would ever work with.

If price is what you're looking for, I know surfremotecontrol has them for $265 and they ARE advertisers on this site, as are bluedo and avsmarts. THEY, if anyone, would have the right to post a price and stock coming in, at the very least on new remotes, if someone asked where to get them.

And please forward a portion of your sales to those who comment in this thread, since we seem to be bringing it to the top for you each time we post.

Thanks.
