I have a perfectly working tsu2000 and would like to if possible work with my new laptop with windows 7. I have installed a GIGAWARE to acomadate USB to Serial to 1/8" stereo jack. I try to upload but get either " not connected","Macros did not run", or not compatible with 32 bit. I went to Microsoft help to allow for the ports to accept 32 bit...... no luck. I tried downloading on of the programs from Remote Central.......no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for looking in.

I am using a rather generic USB to Serial dongle with the original pronto cable, as long as I force the Serial port to use Com1, I can connect and upload/download to either an TS-1000 or TSU-2000. The issue I have is with Prontoedit4 and button galleries - I can't drag & drop, I have to cut and past from other devices.

The USB to Serial dongle must be on the lowest unused COM port. For example, if mouse is on COM1, then you must use COM2. There is info about this in the FAQ.
