Having just got a new TV it was time to update the RC5200. The initial update and download worked fine. Today I added 2 discrete codes to the CCF and proceeded to download to the unit. Half way through the download stopped, I got a very brief message about the CCF being corrupt. The computer than had a blue screen with an IRQ_NOT_EQUAL message and rebooted.
The RC5200 now has now data on it and when u Try to down load any CCF to it I get the same blue screen and reboot problem.
Help!

The blue screen crash is likely unrelated to the status of the remote. I would try a different PC.

Many thanks for the replies.
First happened on an XP machine, then on a Vista machine.
However now the panic is over I am glad to say the hyperterminal fix worked and the RC 5200 is up and running again
