Hi Folks,
I have a Marantz RC5400. Recently, I have started having the problem when the back light goes on and subsequently goes off, the hard buttons stay illuminated. This is not really a problem except that it drains the battery fairly quickly.
Any one know why the hard button lights will not go off? I can unplug the battery and it will correct the situation for a while, but eventually, the problem will come back.

Hal,
Never heard of that one before. I'd try reflashing the firmware. Although it seems unlikely to help, reflashing has cured all sorts of "weird" problems for many folks.
