Hi, I was trying to copy the IR code from a TSU3000 PCF file to a RU890 CCF. It does nothing when I test IR. The IR code is as following.

(power)

7000 006D 0000 0008 0020 000D 0010 0002 0017 0002 0003 0002 0003 0002 0002 0002 0002 0003 0000 0115

Please help! Thanks!

Is there any refernece about the IR code format in CCF and PCF? Also I can not seem to find a right template (.irp) to use makehex to convert this IR code to CCF. If anyone know how to do this please let me know. Thanks!

There's a User Document by Barry Gordon in the Pronto Files Section.

[Link: remotecentral.com]

Also see both FAQs from the 2 Pronto Forums (Classic and NG)

There should be mention of what the 7000 means in the FAQ. If I remember correctly, the 7000 series code is one that uses some internal tables in the remote.

It will also help if you could also tell us what equipment (Manufacturer and Model) this code is for.

That form of Pronto Hex is not covered by Barry's document.

It is described by Eigeny Oulianov's document at

[Link: home.tiscali.nl]

I don't know which models of Pronto understand that particular example of 7000 format. I just checked, and my DecodeCCF program does not understand that example (so it won't tell you which IRP file, if any, could be used to recreate the signal in ordinary Pronto Hex).

I could examine the signal by hand after rereading parts of Eigeny's document that I've forgotten and could then identify or create an IRP file. But I don't know when I'll have time to get to that.

Thanks for the document guys! This document is very helpful. I figured out that by converting to raw format (0000) from 7000 it works! Even though from begining I can not seem to find dID 20 from the table. But I found out that only dID 11 (crown) comes with 7000h and dFreqDiv 6D that matches the format of the code from PCF file. The number of bytes of zTemplate also matches the length of aCode from pcf. It took me few hours to make it work. Not too bad. Thanks for the help!
