Ok, I have a TS1000 and a TSU2000. Both units are doing the same thing. When I switch the remote inot LEARN mode and try to program the On or Off buttons for the projector (which is a Sharp) the Pronot returns a FAIL message. Both remotes do this!

I have tried teaching the remote with the original equipment remote. I have ALSO tried connecting the Pronto to my PC with ProntoEdit. When I select Learn IR from the computer, the computer screen shows a failed message as well (timeout).

I have updated the firmware of the remote and have the latest ProntoEdit software.

Can anyone explain WHY my remotes won't learn anything??

ALSO, when I try to BRAND the device (which is called Projectr) it says: "PROJECTR does not contain brand information. Do you wish to select another device? Yes/No. Why can't I brand the device either to try and look up the code that way?

Ok, I figured it out... thanks to another thread! The IR receiver is at the BOTTOM of the remote. I never would have thought that! Got it handled now though!
