I have a RU-890 that is in dire need of a battery cover. I would like silver but would settle for any thing that fits. The tape is getting old and looks like sh**.

Thanks,

Do you have the battery pack and docking station? If so, why don't you just glue the cover to the remote?

Thanks,

I have docking station and battery, but have never had great luck at keeping the battery full charged. I would hate to glue it in place and have it fail. Isn't there some place(site) that sells parts?

Don't know if Philips still sells parts for an 890/1000 but look here, in the FAQ for the part #/phone #: [Link: remotecentral.com]

Sorry have not been around to much lately. The site helped, payed a few bucks and got a new lid, as they call it.

Thanks for the info
