I have just bought a new Marantz RC9200. When I charged it the first time it worked, but the second time it didn't work. Now it seems to be charging about five minutes and then the indicators on the charger either blinks or are turned off. I've looked at the FAQs and tried to take the battery out for about 24 hours, but it's still the same problem. The firmware is Sys v1.3.1 and App v1.2.2. I had my own configuration and it worked fine. But when it didn't charge I uploaded the default configuration again.

Does anyone know what I can do?

Best regards,

Fredrik from Sweden

Buy a new battery from either prontobattery or from prontowizard.com. You may also want to ensure that all connector pins on the docking station are straight and make contact (spring in and out) prior to purchasing a battery.

It all looks ok. Well, I still have guarantee and will call tomorrow. I just want to be sure that I've tried everything and I think I have now.

Of course if anyone has more ideas I'll be happy to try them.

Thanks.

How do you figure it's not staying charged? Are you going by the battery indidcator in the set up screen? Because some times that is not that good to go by. Or are you only having a short period of time between charges, if so what is it?

Sorry, I should have written that. The thing is that as soon as it looses contact with the charger, i.e when I remove it from the charger, it turns off and doesn't start at all. It doesn't work at all when it's not in the charger. But when it is on the charger it works fine.
