Hope you guys can help, I've replaced my PC, it doesn't have a serial interface to plug my Pronto Pro into, The FAQ says you can buy a serial to USB adaptor, anyone know where's the best (and cheapest) place to buy and what make / model? thanks

I've been reading this forum for ages and found it invaluable in building my CCF, it's given me a lot of great idea's, Thanks.

Go get a Keyspan serial interface from Comp-USA or Office Depot

The back of mine says PIN: USA-19HS

Works fine.

I own a Pronto RU940 and I too have just upgraded my laptop and it has not got a serial port.

I purchased a generic USB to serial adaptor but this does not seem to work with prontoedit although the PC does seem to think it now has a serial port

Suggestions anyone

Please see the "More USB Info" link inthe above Menu bar.

If you follow my instruction inthat post, and it still doesnt work... Buy a Keyspan...
