Hello im new to this forum but i am in great need.
The remote commander supplied with my somy receiver has never worked properly and now it has been damaged beyond repair. The control is the rm-lp211 and i have never been able to change sound fields or inputs with it.
What i would like is if somebody has this control to send me the ccf file for a pronto ru940 so that i cant control my amp. Failing this im hopeing some kind hearted soul will be able to write a ccf for this for me.
Thanks in advance.

Have you looked in the Files area to see if there is a CCF which includes this device? Similar models usually use the same codes.

I have tried the codes from the str-db1070 and my mates ccf from his old str-db940 and niether work
My remote is now totally dead, due to my extreme impatence with the rm-lp211 it bounced off a wall.
so the problem has been worsened by my own stupidity.
If i manage to find a kind soul with ccf's for my amp will htey need to be set to av2 as this is what my amp and remote work on now? or by just changeing over the amp settings can i use av1.
I hate sony.
