Is there a code(s) that will display the DVD menu. Using the Yahama remote, the Menu button creates a display. Learning that code does not create a display. Is there a way to solve this?

What receiver? What DVD player? what TV?

We have no idea what your setup looks like so I, for sure, will be able to provide a sure answer until you provide a bit more information.

My configuration is:
Tv = Samsung HLN467W
Rec = Yahama RX-V1400
DVD = Yahama DVD-S540

Thanks,

So, when you press 'Menu' on your Yamaha DVD remote, the menu displays on your TV screen but when you learn the code from 'Menu' on your Pronto and press the 'Menu' button on the Pronto, the same menu does not display?

Is that what you are saying?

Yes, that is the issue.
I also thinkmthat I should have posted this question in the Pronto NG forum. I'll be more careful in the future

You may have an issue with the Yamaha learned code. Post the learned hex data in the NG forum and we can go from there.

In your NG forum post, put a link to this thread so that others can follow the original dialog.
