When it comes to programming my remote I am absolutely helpless. I've had this remote for 2 years now and it's performed perfectly. At that time, a member of this board, Andrew is his first name not sure of the last, but I've been unable to contact him. He originally sent me a zip file which I downloaded and it worked all of my equipment. I've recently changed from Brighthouse to DircTV and now need to get the satellite receiver programmed into my remote including macros. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

I would suggest getting the Pronto Guide as an intro to programming - http://www.prontowizard.com/ If you're looking for someone to program it, Glenn may be interested.

The Pronto Guide is for the Pronto NG not the 2000. While many of the principles are the same, there is a lot of difference in the way it is set up.

Thanks, wish I had known that before downloading it. Oh well, maybe it's time to upgrade the remote anyway.
