I need three codes from the EAD Signature 8 SRC-2000 series remote. They are

Analog Input Gain
0dB
-6dB

They are located on Setup 2, Page 2. Need them to complete the programming of my Marantz 5200.

Woo-hoo! Thanks Glack. It's annoying that these don't show up when the IR Learning feature is used.

Well, I must be doing something wrong, as I can't seem to get this function to work on the Signature 8. I'm following the instructions in the manual: I first selected the analog input (A1), then hit the Analog Input Gain button, then -6 dB. I do not get the flashing Analog Input Attenuation Screen, and when I go to it via Disp Dn it still shows 0 dB of attenuation. Is there some trick to get this to work?

I don't suppose you have any more codes like this up your sleeve for the Sig8? (Meaning to say, that again don't show up in IR Learning.) You wouldn't happen to know if there are "F" functions besides F95?

Yes, I gave that one a try. Didn't work either. I just had this Sig8 serviced by Boelen Electronics (former emplyees of EAD). It checked out at 100%. There must be something wrong in the way the manual has this function described. I keep following the steps but it does not work.

To Glack and Lyndel, it DOES work. I had to go to the EAD 6000 manual to discover that the keys have to be pressed within 2 seconds of each other!

Thanks Glack. I actually got all the codes from Boelen Electronics. I assume you know EAD has closed its doors; Boelen, as a company closely tied to EAD, has a lot of this stuff. They sent me the Sig 8 remote codes a while ago, but I could never get the Analog Gain to work. Now that I understand about the timing, I'll bet the original codes would probably work just fine. Are your codes learned from a remote, or did you get them as well from EAD?

EAD is still around, its now under the name Alpha Digital Tech, A division of Tara labs or partners, something to that song, as it it now just a few miles away from me. I have been in the building an met a few of the guys and learned a few EAD codes awhile back for a cd player. I got the codes from my RTI files, it has quite a few of hidden codes, thats where I found those

Glack, I hate to give you the bad news, but the company known as Alpha Digital Tech / EAD is no more. They stopped answering the phone as of about two weeks ago. Tara (for reasons I don't know) and ADT were parting ways, and Alastair Roxburgh and others at the top of ADT were looking for a buyer. They did not succeed. Whether they managed to bring enough people back to keep answering the phones, or if there is any move to find another buyer, are things I don't know.

When you say you got the codes from your RTI files, do you mean this

or some file you got from somewhere else? If the latter, could you send me the IR library that you have?

We Sell Universal Remote, RTI, Crestron and at one time used to do Pronto. If I dont have it in one file I look in another, usually between all the files I can find the one I need. RTI has all the codes in the HEx format so I just copied it from There
