Question on signal duration! Help!

Hallo everyone!

This is what I'd like to do:

1) I press a button.
2) Pronto sends the signal associated to that button for e.g. 3 seconds.

There are lots of threads here discussing that. You should search for threads on extending signal duration (some subset of those words) rather than wait for someone to retype the questions needed to narrow down your requirements to provide an answer. You can also find it in the FAQ.

Generally the older Prontos can extend signals using sequences repeating part or all of the original signal.

Generally NG Prontos can't because they put too much delay between steps in a sequence.

Philips has just announced that you will be able to specify the time you want a signal to be sent with the next version of the Pronto NG firmware/software due out next month.

So one option is to upgrade to the 3000.
