Hallo everyone

Congratulations to this excellent site.

It really has EVERYTHING there is to know about remote controls.

I recently purchased (second-hand) the Philips Pronto RU-940.

I have some A/V equipment but I have lost the remote control of my projector, that is the SHARP PG B 10 S. Would it be possible for someone to send it to me, or at least, let me know where from I can download it?

If so, please send it to ctouris@hotmail.com.

I would be very grateful if you could send it or give me an address as every time I need to switch on/off the projector or change the inputs I have to climb!

Many thanks.

I am waitinfg for your response.

Have you tried searching the Files area for a CCF for this device?

Thanx for your reply.

Of course I have searched, but there are no relevant files to download to my Pronto.

Would it be possible to operate the pojector if I installed the ccf of another model of Sharp projector?

Quite probably as manufacturer's don't typically change IR code sets from generation to generation or model to model. There may be some extra codes which do not apply or you may be missing a couple but, most likely, it will work.

OK, I have managed to make my pronto command the projector.

However, what I have noticed is that, while using the ProntoEdit v 4.0.5, most of the times I cannot download to the remote control, while there is never a problem uploading from it!

Why is that?

You need to activate the screen just prior to downloading to your Pronto.
