I'm having trouble adding an additional power off command (x10)to a macro that shuts down my home theatre. I'm trying to use Prontoedit 4. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do the power codes work by themselfs? If so and they aren't working in the marco try adding delays between each of the codes. Start off with a long delay then step down the time of the delay until they are at their shortest.

Yes the codes seem to work. I guess my question is even more basic. How do I add the additional command to the list of commands in the macro. When I open up the ccf and view the string of commands associated with the "System off" button I just want to add the one additional command. I did not program the original macro and I was hoping not to redo the entire macro but just modify the original. Thanks

Yes, you can add or take away actions in the action list. If the macro is located on the macro side of the remote. It can be done from the remote. If not, it has to be done from the computer.

It would be easier to do this from the computer anyways. First upload the ccf if you haven't done that already and save it. Then do a save as, just in case you made a mistake. With all do respect.

Open the macro button that you want to make the changes to.

On that new window is the list of actions for that button. For each action that you add, delay, beeps, ir codes, alais and such, they will be added at the buttom of the list. There for you will have to move them up to where you want them to be.

As Rob said, computer is easier. Just understand that you can't LEARN another command into the action list, it needs to be done with an alias.
