My ProntoPro (US TS6000, a few years old) has been unused for quite some time (lack of time to do a proper set of screens) and I finally decided spend the effort to put it in action.
The battery seems dead, which is I will try to replace but even if connected just to the power supply, the LCD display is very faint, barely readable. The backlight seems to be lit to some extend.
Any ideas what has happened? And how to fix it?

Petri,
Change changing the contrast wheel on the left side of the Pronto and see if that improves it.

Also make sure the backlight is set to the brightest setting in the setup menu.

Thanks, I feel soooo stupid! It was the contrast wheel "problem".
