I've managed to resize and load up a bitmap as my new home icon but this is laying the icon over a grey button underneath. How do i remove the grey button so that the icon is there by itself. This is a UK RU890 by the way.

Cheers

Jim

Are you talking about the oval which is about 1.5 cm long? Well if you are, it can not be removed.

Rob,

Not entirely true. The Imgrep DOS utility from the Files Section could be used to supply a new bitmap. Ultimately, you will would want to edit this bitmap to have a white background.

I was thinking of responding with the same ImgRep utility, but figured it was probably beyond the scope of what the poster would want to do...

Thanks for your input guys, I think the ImgRep function probably is a bit beyond me so I'll just live with the grey background

Thanks again

Jim
