For those interested, you can still get to it by going through the What's New archive. Next year I'll do something better... this was literally a last minute decision.

A couple of days ago the FDA approved brain implants that are intended to allow paraplegics, etc. to control a cursor using brainwaves. While these are wired, wireless versions are planned.
