I am trying to replace the badly damaged docking station for my RU970 (TSU6000). Philips customer service have been trying without success to find a way of supplying just the dock. It can be a UK or US version as I can easily use a different power supply. Any ideas or sources (UK or elsewhere)?
Help!
Thanks.

Sometimes dealers have them for sale on Ebay.

I've never seen one for sale on its own on EBay! Quick question though, is the docking station beyond repair? I found a repair place that fixed mine in Maidstone, Kent.

For info, Philips themselves (in Netherlands) say a dock IS available, but Philips UK say it is not. Impasse! Philips (NL) hinted that they were shortly moving to a more flexible method of parts ordering where docks etc should be more freely available.
BTW the dock is totally destroyed - dog damage!
I am currently working with a very helpful distributor to get a dock by other means...

Thanks. That would explain the hopeless response I got from Philips UK when I needed help!

JOwen, as in the UK Dutchwest Ltd. are the parts supplier, is this going to change or is the availability of more parts from them going to increase (or is it only in Netherlands things will improve)?

I think Philips are trying to make spares more easily available through distributors.
BTW I did finally get the dock via a UK distributor (AWE - very helpful indeed), but only because they happened to have one spare. It is still not available to order.
