I have a Marantz RC5000 (actually labelled TS5000/02) and it's display is stretched horizontally so that I can only see the left half of the screen.
1. I have reset it
2. Updated the firmware
3. Reloaded the config file
It is still only showing half the display.
Any ideas?

Only thing you haven't tried is leaving the batteries out for 8 hours, and checking the cable connections inside.

Once you follow Peter's advice regarding batteries, there are several other threads in this forum that discuss replacement of the screen with pictures.
It may be time for a new screen. Check Ebay for screens from a user BSOVEREIGN. He may have some left.
