Whats the best way to get my pronto design from illustrator to photoshop without losing to much detail.

Well, that depends on how you drew it in Illustrator. Illustrator can export to any bitmapped format. I suggest exporting at twice the size of the Pronto screen, then use Photoshop to reduce the size by 50%. You generally get better scaling that way. As a final step, you'll probably want to do an Unsharp Mask filter on the entire image.

What you can also try is to import the paths used in illustrator. Again this depends on how you created your artwork. If it is just for an outline shape, you can easily use the path import function.
