I just purchased from smarthome.com their 4040 Infrared to X10 Controller device and a couple of lamp modules. I have a Pronto Pro TSU6000 remote control and want to use it to controller my lights. Did I purchase the right products? Do I need anything else? Thanks

Yes, the IR-543 (also called the 4040) was the correct thing to buy. This converts the Pronto's IR signal into a workable X-10 Signal which will allow you to control your X-10 equipment. The only other thing you'll need is one of the X-10 files here on RC that contain the necessary codes.
