Let me be the first to perhaps stretch my ego a bit and say, you are very very welcome.
I get the sense, especially when the humor and the sarcasm arise, that most of us who post here just love it. Think about it -- we know about this stuff and there is nobody, or very few people, in our regular lives that we can talk to about it.
And along comes someone who will actually appreciate what we have learned, who wants us to share it? This is an example of giving being more blessed than receiving, because most of the time it just really feels good to be able to respond. ESPECIALLY if we have the hard-won answer to something just totally brain-dead that the manufacturer did.
Come on, everybody, chime in!

Ernie,
You just made me realize why I like coming here. There aren't many people in my life who share this interest...even people in the A/V business. You hit the nail on the proverbial head!

I second mikehifi's sentiment. I started out as a novice. I do programming for a living so the learning curve was pretty short, but I did get a lot of help here. Thanks to everyone.
Also my ccf wouldn't look anywhere NEAR as good had I not cannabalized Daniel and Andre's ccf files.
Thanks again.

I can't begin to explain how much I have learned from this site. Its a grat place to share experiences, my girlfriend has long been tired of it. This is the first place I go when I run into a ploblem that I cannot figure out.
