I just grabbed a second-hand Onkyo TX-DS989Upg2, unfortunately without remote.

I have a Pronto, and I got some configurations from RC, but they are not 100% complete.

I particularly miss one key: it's the "audio" key, showed in the attached picture, which has a specific functionality in the Upgraded2 version: it toggle between analog and multichannel input.

Result: I cannot listen to SACD

Could anybody -owning a TX-DS 989 (any version) & a Pronto- learn this key and send me the .ccf file?

Additional info:
The TX-DS989 remote is named RC-390M, they sold it separately for a period, but only in North America.

Thanks in advance.

Did you try the Integra CHAD default CCF? Just about every Onkyo/Integra code is already in there.

Impaqt,
Speaking of CHAD...

It comes with the volume up/down/mute ready to go for Onkyo and Integra, but not on all devices. Is there a quick way to punch it thru for all devices without going to each device screen?

Thanks!

Actually, I've noticd that as well... For some reason, Integra seems to have decided to put the Integra Volume codes along with EVERY device insead of just putting it on the Home page.... SO re-learning the Home page doesnt override all the device pages because each device has its own Volume code.....

So to answer your Question... No.... Cant do it... gotta use Chad edit to Delect all the Volume comands then go back and put your comands into the home page.....

Easiest shortcut(Without PC intervention) would be to delete all the Volume commands on the device pages then relearn your Commands into the Home page.

If you delete all and enter on the home page, then all pages work (I'm assuming from your post).

What if then you go to the TV page and put in TV volume up and down? Does that disable the global effect?

I tried the Chad way, but the result is that I can't use the Chad codes in my Pronto!

I first uploaded the default Onkyo CCF in my Pronto, but any of the buttons was able to send a IR code (no blinking on the Amplifier, neither on the other IR receivers).

Then I tried copy&paste the hex code from ChadEdit to ProntoEdit, same results.

I wonder if they have different codes at all: for instance, the "ON" code is the following on the Chad:
======================================================
8000 0000 0002 0000 000a 2454 0002 0000
======================================================

while on the Pronto CCF the same "ON" button for has the following (learned) IR code:
======================================================
0000 006c 0022 0002 0156 00ac 0016 0015 0016 0040 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0040 0016 0015 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0015 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0015 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0040 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0015 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 0040 0016 05cb 0156 0055 0016 0e5c
======================================================

Why this difference?

Is there anybody who has succesfully used the Chad codes on a Pronto?

Thanks for your help.

By the way, the "Audio" button I'm searching for, has the following code in the Chad CCF:

======================================================
8000 0000 0002 0000 000a 2454 000e 0000
======================================================

Is it possible to convert it in a Pronto-readable format?
