All of a sudden (after close to 3 years of use) my screen looks like it have go to double size and only displays half of the items. It also looks like it is reversed. I have redownloaded the program but to no avail. It is all garbled. I have removed the batteries and pused the reset button but it keeps comimg back the same way. Does anyone know of this kind of problem with the Marantz RC 5000?

Try downloading a fresh copy of the firmware.

I have heard of this problem before. More than likely, there is a physical failure on your control board and it will need to be repaired. (Cheaper solution... carry a mirror.)

I Just have had the same problem but screen not inverted. Does anybody with the same problem know the solution? Do I have to change the display or the problem is somewhere else?
It still reconizes the commands in the original position but the screen is double and only the first half is visible

Could be a component failure, could be a loose display cable inside, could need to be left without power for 24 hours (sometimes solves odd issues like this).
