In the lastest version of the firmware for the TSU6000 and RU970, are the device database still different (i.e. the TSU6000 still has extra US devices and RU970 has European devices)?
I'm asking as I'm looking at buying a Pronto Pro and can't decide whether I should get a TSU600 or RU970. If the databases are still different, I'm thinking about the RU970 (as I have mainly European TV equipment) even though it's more expensive.
If not, then I think I'll just get a TSU6000 as it's cheaper.
What are some cheap places for either remote that will ship the remote overseas (I live in Australia)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Mark

The databases are very similar, if not identical. The default CCF is a little different.
But most people find they prefer to not use the database, as it does not contain all codes and what it does have is hard to figure out. And the first thing you do when you start setting up is ditch the default CCF and start with one downloaded from here.
So it does not make difference which one you get.
Don't forget that if you buy from overseas you will have to pay GST on the total price paid including freight, and if the value is over $1000 you will also be charged a customs handling fee.
