beep sound with new batteries

I have changed to new batteries in my pronto pro tsu2000, and every time when i touch the lsd screen and the light goes on on the remote, the remote starts to beeb and that goes on till the light goes off, what can i do to get rid of this problem!

It beeps, or does it buzz like?

If it's beeping, that that means a button is being pressed. That is if you have the pronto set up to beep with each press.If so, go to set up page 2 and turn off both hard and soft button beeps. Just to see if that turns it off.

However, if it is a buzzing sound, then that is normal as the back light makes that noise.
