i cant get an rc3200 to learn some codes from a panasonic dvd player (stop or search backwards) and a pioneer receiver (volume down). my question is if i cut and paste these codes from my rc5200 will this work? ive already posted this question on the neo/3200 forum with no response if anyone has any idea if this will work or even not the info would be greatly appreciated or ideas for how else to get the codes into the 3200. my rc5200 lerns the codes perfectly.

Im not sure if the neo ir codes are the same as the pronto. I don't keep track of that stuff. Though I should.

However, you could try learning the ir codes via the rc 5200 instead of the orginal remote. Back years ago before I updated my firmware in my ts-1000. I was having trouble learning ir codes from a Scinetific Alantic remote for a cable box. So I learned them into another learning remote, then transferred the learned into the pronto. Worked great.

Pront hex and Neo IR are not interchangeable.

Here is an Excell Spreadsheet that will convert 0000 and 5000 codes into Neo Format. You could also Try codes from other Panasonic DVD Players and Pioneer Receivers
