I recently purchased a TSU2000 and have looked at remotecentral.com for customized codes for my A/V componenents. I have not been very successful in finding my exact models. I am not sure how to create customized remote codes. Can anyone suggest something? I have a Hitachi 43" Ultravision widescreen TV, Kenwood VR509, Sony DVD CV660, JVC VCR, and Echostar 4900 Dish Network receiver. Can someone point me in the right direction here. I am new to all of this.

The best way to get started is to download ccf's for all your equipment. You will end up with 6 different ccf's each one containing only a small part of what you need. Open each one in pronto edit one at a time and delete all the stuff you dont need from that particular ccf. You will then have 6 small ccf's, one for each peice of equipment. Open up one of them and then from here open up the next one and select merge when prompted. Do this for all the ccf's. You will then have one ccf for all your equipment. Create a home page and hey presto, you will then have a working ccf that you can customise with your own bitmaps and macros. Hope this helps. Best tip it to "play with the puppy", you will soon get the hang of it.

Or perhaps you could just learn all your codes into your Pronto. Assuming that you have all the original remotes. I know it's time consuming but it worked for me.

Thanks for all the advice. Is it possible to create all the buttons you want to see in prontoedit, download them to the Pronto and then learn the remote codes to the corresponding buttons? I tried to do this the other night and some of the buttons did not appear when I downloaded them. I just used standard icons. Any thoughts?

Buttons that have no "Action" associated with them do not shw up ont he pronto screen unless you have the remote in "LEARN" mode. If you want all buttons to show up, add a delay tothe action list.

This is possible, you will only see the buttons once you have learned a code to them. In lean mode all the buttons will be visable.
