does anyone have any starting/basic information on programing discrete codes. I have not tried it yet but am very interested. Also with my Denon 3803 since I cannot choose preset radio stations by simply choosing 14 etc. I have designed a series of alternating panels that show what radio station is playing and what chanels are available to choose from.(any one interested let me know i will send configuration)It works very well and stays in sink with the receiver. But this would be a whole lot easier with discrete codes. thanks

What do you mean by "starting/basic information"? You can't create discrete codes - either they exist or they don't.

By the way, I think you mean "in synch".

The Tuner in the 3803 does support Discrete codes. The Tuner has 5 Banks, and 8 Stations per bank.

The Atkis remote that comes with the 4802/5802 has all discrete codes available and there are several CCF's of it here in the files section. Try This One its a button for buton remap of that remote and has all the discrete Tuner codes within.

Impaqt,
Thanks for the info, your a life saver. No more revolving panels. Do you have any advice for someone who hasn't used dicrete codes yet. Ie how and where to input them into the remote. Thanks a lot

What I usually do is Alias the Discrete codes into Macros, so I have my Radio stations Labled "WCKG", "ESPN", "LOOP" etc etc etc Those buttons then just run a mini macro

"WCKG" is Alias -"A" ALIAS "1"

etc etc etc

No real reason to have the codes exposed on the panel
