I am unable to use Emulator in my prontoEdit. An attempt results in the message - "No Valid PRONTO.INI found". Solutions?
Thanks,
Mac

You could uninstall, and then reinstall the software. Even though the program doesn't prompt you, you MUST reboot the computer after reinstallation. Reinstalling should not delete any ccfs on the computer, but I'd copy them just to be safe. Jim L

Reinstalling should fix it. The emulator still uses pronto.ini whereas ProntoEdit 4.05 uses the registry.

Peter,
I am using 4.05. Are you saying that this version does not include pronto.ini? If so, reinstalling will not solve my problem.

It includes pronto.ini, it just must have got corrupted or misinstalled. You may have to download the program again, but reinstalling should fix it. Just remember to reboot. Jim L
