is there a way to change the Beep tone (pitch, duration, etc) gloablly rather than adding a beep command to each button???

Hmmm, am I missing something? I didn't think that any version of the Marantz remotes supported custom beeps and tones. That's supposed to be a Pronto only feature.

Now it may be that a beep shows up in your action list, if you imported it from a Pronto, but I don't think it works, nor can you add one. This would also explain why Tonto isn't letting you do this either.

well that explains everything :(

So much for that trick. maybe i can send an x-10 signal to flash all the house lighst each time he presses a button.

GREAT IDEA, Pronto feedback for the deaf. Now you just have to find a deaf client to show off your creation. 'Course from the outside, his house is gonna look like a 70's disco ;-)

You do know that the Marantz will beep when pressed? It's just that the tone can't be customized like a Pronto.

the only beep a Marantz can do is a press button beep, and that is changed globally (but only loudness)
