my pronto continually has a calibration error, what do I do? It works on the upper left corner and then errors out on the lower right corner of calibration

I had to replace my touchscreen to fix my calibration errors that I was having with my 2000. It's possible that the little ribbon cable that connects the touchscreen to the circuit board has come partially loose as well. Check out the pictures at [Link: joey6p.com] for details on taking your pronto apart to see.

Of course, of you're still under warranty, you may want to go that route.

Jessica,

What are you calibrating it with? You can't use your finger. Try something like a stylus, pointed - not not sharp so you don't scratch the screen.
