I use a downloaded file for my yamaha-amplifier DSP-AX2 within my pronto. All keys and functions work very well. The sleep-key work also well if manualy pressed.

I made a macro to set all my devices (tv, sat-receiver and amplifier) into sleep-mode (90 minutes). This will not work with the amplifier.

I programed the macro in a way, that the sleep-key will send equal as it is manualy pressed (same count), with a delay between each key (i tested with different delay-durations).

After macro-execution is the sleep-timer of the amplifier allway in a randomly state (120, 90, 60 or even off).

I have learned the sleep-key from my original remote instead of using the downloaded key, but with the same result (work well if manualy pressed but not within the macro).

I have the same problem with my philips-tv, but there i have create a workaround. Instead of using the sleepkey from tv, i make a macro-sequence who will open the tv-onscreen-menu and activate the sleep-function this way.

For the Yamaha DSP-AX2 i have no idea for a workaround like this. My only chance seem to be a proper code.

Can anyone help me please?

I already downloaded the "YAMAHA EXTENDED IR CODES Collection by Andrea Whitlock", but i dont understand this. I am searching the proper code that can entered within the pronto-software.

Instead of trying to do what your doing, Create a System off Timer.

I seem to recall a CCF on this site for the Yamaha RXV-900/1000 had discrete sleep buttons inside it. Will these not work for your setup?

Thank you very much!

The discrete sleep button inside the CCF work. Great!
