Is there a simple way to convert all bitmap images to Black and White.

Right now - I'm downloading BMP -> load into Paint -> Save as Mono BMP -> Reload into Prontoedit.

Very time consuming...

Is there a better way

Thx

You could load the original bitmap directly into PE (provided it is 8-bit or less), but it may not do as good a conversion.

BTW, the Pronto is 2-bit greyscale, not black and white.

Sorry - I meant to make clear that the bitmaps are already in Prontoedit.

( copying someone else's CCF ).

Changing the 4 shades of grey to 2 shades saves quite some memory. ( about 150 bytes ) - this adds up if you have the 1MG Pronto.

But exporting one bitmap at a time is slow.

I was hoping someone else had the problem and came up with a cool solution
