I am trying to setup my Pronto Pro to learn some IR commands from my remotes and can't seem to go into learn mode on the remote. If I go into setup on the remote and go to the 2nd panel I do not see Mode Menu. Because of this when I click on the remote icon my remote does nothing. I have a ccf downloaded into the remote and want to learn some Ir commands into the remote.
Do I learn the commands via the Pronto Edit program? Also is there another Pronto edit program besides Pronto Edit v.4.0.5 for my TSU6000?
Thanks for your help.

Upload your ccf into ProntoEdit 4.05
Once there go into Home, then to System Properties.
There you'll find a box configuration is write-protected is checked.
That means that nothing can be done on the remote once downloaded. The ccf that you have in the remote right now, must have the box checked. If so, uncheck it. Download the ccf. Learn your ir codes and upload the ccf again.

I have been lucky enough never to experience the problem with learning via ProntoEdit. I just have read again and again, don't do it because there will be problems.
I think King O T has it right.

When I de-selected and then re-selected the copy protection my Home panel buttons changed to something different. Has anyone experienced this before? Then when I de-select the copy protections on the Home Panel the buttons are correct again.

Your clicking the wrong one then. Don't mess with the "Home Panel" Mess with the "Configuration" box.
