I have not been able to get a JUMP to the MACRO side from the DEVICE side to work. I just get a frozen blank screen that I have to use the RESET button to get out of.
The Pronto Edit instructions I have under the JUMP topic don't give much detail but it seems like there must be something I am missing. If I move the MACRO located item to the DEVICE side it works fine.
Thanks,
Rick

Rick, there seems to be a bug for the marantz that hasn't been fixed. But there is a "fix" for it though in the set up menu. Where you can turn off the macro's set up separtely from the device.

However, if you want to do this trick instead, you could. Right after you download a ccf into your remote. Press the macro after start up, then press home. Use the defaut buttons to do this, not one of your own. Once that is done, it should work, until your next download. Where you have to repeat the above.

Rob's right about the fixes.

Rob's method 1 fixes it permanately.

I just wanted to add, that with Method 2, the bug comes back ANYTIME the remote reboots. A download, firmware update or uncommanded reboot will all require you then tap the macro menu and the home key.

Thanks to both of you. Rob or Jim, just to clarify for the first fix. Do you mean to deselect 'macro menu active' in the set up menu?

Rick,

Yep, that disables the bug for as long as the macro menu is disabled. Of course you can't use it to navigate any more.

Are you using Pronto Edit to program your 9200?

If you are try using Touch Screen Setup.
