On Page 6 of the user manual for the ProntoPro
RFX-6000 it says.

"If your devices are not responding to commands or IF THE RED LED ON THE IR BLASTER IS BLINKING WITHOUT SENDING COMMANDS, It might be possible that there is RF interference."

Now my RED LED blinks for some time after the
RFX-6000 is done sending commands.

DOES ANYONE ELSE have this happening?

HOW can I test for RF Interference?
HOW can I shield the RFX-6000 from RF Interference?

Well, mine blinks about 6 or 7 times for a SINGLE code transmitted in RF. If you're using a macro with multiple codes being sent via RF - then it could blink for quite a while. What you're describing may or may not be RF interference. Since both units behave the same, odds are it's normal.

The easiest way to test is just observe the extenders red light before the unit is sent any codes. If it's blinking, you got interference, if the light is on steady no sweat.

Can't really sheild the device without interferring with intended transmissions. Conventional wisdom is to move the unit - it may only require a few inches. Try to find a location where blinking is minimized.
